Pop culture is a modern day way of expressing thoughts, feelings, and beliefs in society. All this can be expressed through television, music, art, cinema, and on platforms through the internet. Social media has become the most popular way of expressing these ideas. On platforms such as Tik Tok, Instagram, and Snapchat people are easily influenced by bloggers or influencers to do something that might not be good but most of the time it brings people together for a common person. For example, a few years ago there was a trend going around the internet of people taking a spoonful of cinnamon, which caused people to choke. As people saw this trend they wanted to try it out because they were easily influenced by the people they saw online. This is what Philippine was trying to express in his Ted Talk video.
